Get fit with Beansprouts! (Tauge Goreng)

Bean sprouts are a common ingredient, especially in Eastern Asian cuisine, made from sprouting beans. The typical bean sprout is made from the greenish-capped mung beans. Other common bean sprouts are the usually yellow, larger-grained soy sprouts. The sprouted beans are more nutritious than the original beans and they require much less cooking time.
I have just known this recently how to eat beansprouts in a good way. I had known that beansprouts is nutritious yet didn’t know how to eat in a proper dish until I found it! Yay! This simple healthy dish mainly consist of high Vit- E beansprouts can be called Toge goreng. Originally from Bogor, Indonesia. It should be served fresh and with extra delicious touco sauce to bring it to the next delicate flavour! Nyam! Here we go to the recipe!
Prepare what you need: 
Portion: 3 pax
1 pack Tauge (beansprouts)
1 pack Taupok (or fried firm Tofu, but never put silken Tofu)
6 no Big Red Pepper (Cabe merah, not paprika), seeded (for those who can’t take spicy food), sliced 6 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped 6 cloves shallots, thinly sliced 1 egg noodles
Sauce/seasoning:
Sweet soy sauce, chilli, white pepper, salt, sugar, sweet tauco sauce.

Direction:
  1. On the hot wok, stir fry garlic, shallot and chilli until half caramelized (at this point, the smell of the fragrant  flourished nicely)
  2. Then add in Taupok, add bit of water, when Taupok is half softened, add the beansprouts. Stir fry tauge until half softened (not too long) then add all the seasonings. Add about 1/2 cup of water so that you have some gravy. Keep adjusting the taste by add on tauco sauces or even spices according to your personal preference.
  3. Serve in a place ince the beansprouts is ready (soft enough).
  4. You can opt to eat this with ready egg noodles or even rice.

Note for storage:
Beansprouts have a high water content, so they only keep for a very short time in the refrigerator before they start to turn limp and mushy. They are best used within a day of purchase. Unsuitable for freezing
